THE GARAGE
as seen under construction at fairs across the country.

The garage was built to fit alongside the bungalow as an extension.    As with most of the models built by Peter Turvey it is completely constructed using materials that are provided by Grandad's Toys.   It is a brick construction that mirrors full-size construction with the brickwork being plastered with a 'cement render' on the internal walls.  The roof trusses are made from wood and topped with 'weathered roof tiles'.   The 'metal framed windows' are made from specially extruded aluminium and glazed with real glass.   The floor is a mix of concrete and tiles, with the concrete under the vehicle area.   The model is finished with a door that leads out to the back garden.
